Shouldn't I find a beta reader who is also an author?
Authors benefit from feedback that reflects a range of perspectives. While writers may focus on technical aspects like structure or prose, dedicated readers are more likely to point out if a story is engaging, the characters are likable or believable, and if the emotional impact is effective. This kind of honest, reader-first response can highlight issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.

What’s the difference between a beta read and a book review?
A beta read happens before a book is published and focuses on feedback to help the author revise. A book review is a public opinion shared after publication to help other readers decide whether to read it. I offer both!

Do you share negative reviews?
I aim to be honest but respectful. If I truly dislike a book, I may choose not to review it publicly. For beta reads, I offer constructive criticism designed to help the author improve.

Can I submit my book for review?
Yes! I’m open to reviewing books that align with my interests and values. Please note that submitting a book does not guarantee a review—I’m selective about what I feature and prioritize titles that I genuinely connect with. You can find submission guidelines [here].
