I’m Karci! But I guess you probably knew that already...

Well, here’s some more about me that you might not know: After growing up in a rural area in southeastern Ohio, I moved to Columbus where I studied strategic communication at Ohio State University. Even after living here for several years I still love exploring this city and am always watching for festivals, community events, and—of course—new coffee shops. I’m working on collecting some “data” (others might call it sips of coffee) to highlight my favorite reading spots in the area, so stay turned if you’re near me.

I’ve always been an avid reader, but joining the bookish community has brought me so much joy! I love keeping up with The Sisterhood Book Club (@KrisandMads on TikTok) and other creators who bring energy and insight to the literary world. I stay up-to-date with trends, follow industry news, and study the craft of writing.

My favorite stories reflect the complexity of lived experience, offering honest representation by portraying characters who face adversity and sharing voices that too often go unheard. Words have power, and I’m passionate about exploring that power through meaningful conversation, critique, and connection.
